About Heather from the Heart
Welcome to Heather from the Heart! I am a wife, mum, children's nurse, life survivor, trainee yogi and Reiki practitioner.
My greatest life struggle was losing my beautiful daughter Hannah when she was just 11 years old.
She was diagnosed with a rare AVM when she was 3. I had to watch her decline from a normal little girl to her losing the ability to walk and feed herself. I was her everything, I did everything for her until the end. I have had to learn to live again without her and support my other children who lost their sister. I learnt to be a nurse looking after her and eventually qualified as a nurse because of her. She was our world and she taught me so much. She helped me be the strong caring person I am today.

One particular thing that has really helped me personally was Reiki, it helped me cope with my own life challenges. My first Reiki session was in the local hospice where my daughter was having respite. Life at this time was very difficult but Reiki gave me a great source of comfort, and it helped me take stock of my emotions and learn to accept what was happening in my life. It helped me so much with my anxiety and stress at such a difficult time.
Because Reiki has helped me so much it became a passion for me to learn how to give Reiki to others. I qualified as a Reiki practitioner and enjoy helping others in their life journey. I am lucky to have a direct linage to the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui.
With the knowledge I have gained to get me back on my feet time and time again, I have created an 8 week "Amazing you" life coaching programme, using my life skill and experience, which I myself use daily to keep me on track after many life hurdles including grief, domestic violence, divorce, remarriage, empty nest and moving abroad.
The programme is easy to follow and has very achievable steps for you to grow and bloom in confidence.
